Speaker Meeting

Professor Kevin Pitts has agreed to give us a talk entitled 'Observation of Matter/Antimatter Oscillations with the CDF Detector'. He will be presenting his research and a brand new result that hasn't even hit publication yet. A press release of the result Professor Pitts will be presenting can be found here.

LN₂ Ice Cream

For the first meeting of the year, the Physics Society will make it's classic liquid nitrogen ice cream. As always, this ice cream is free for everyone that attends. Feel free to bring a friend and check out the Physics Society.

Pizza Meetings
Location: Meet at Loomis
Date & Time: Last Friday of every month, 5:30 pm *

Come join the Physics Society for pizza at the best, Papa Dels. After we meet at Loomis we will walk to Papa Dels. Drinks are paid for by PhySoc, the usual cost per person is around $7 or $8. (* According to the Physics Society, the last Friday of the month varies. Check your email for more details.)

The Physics Society is a student organization whose members share a common interest in physics.  We have a wide range of members including not only physics majors but also people from many other different areas of study.  Through the society we attempt to expand our knowledge of physics and blow stuff up.
