At this meeting, we will be having some people who did research this summer just give a very informal talk about what research they did this summer and what they learned from the experience. REU applications are due soon, some are due in february and others in march so we are also doing this so that people can start thinking about this right now so that they can apply in the next 2 weeks or so.

Please, ANYONE, who did research this summer, let me know if you can make it to this meeting and say something. THis doesn't mean you have to dig out your transparencies that you made this summer for your talk at 3 a.m. (ah the memories), it just means you come and you talk, nothing fancy-shmancy).
