On Saturday, September 30th, the Physics Society will sponsor the Physics Department Picnic at Illini Meadows, beginning at 11:00am. Free food!!!
A tour of the nuclear reactor (behind MRL) has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 11 at 7pm. It will be given by Mark Kaczor, reactor health physicist. Those who have signed up for the tour should meet at 239 Loomis at 6:30pm. As of the last meeting (Sept. 13) the tour was limited to 20 people, and 21 people had signed up. Changes to this information, if any, should be posted here. If you have signed up for the tour and cannot attend, please contact Jana or Greg (who is organizing the event) and tell them so that someone else may attend.
